- 1-2 pounds of meat (pork, beef, or chicken)
- 2 tsp each: garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 c salsa
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened and cubed
- corn tortillas
2. When meat is falling apart, shred it, then cook for another hour.
3. Place meat in a large bowl. Add cream cheese and mix until well-combined. Add liquid from the crock pot as needed.
4. Microwave corn tortillas until pliable (~2 minutes). Spoon meat onto tortilla and roll up tightly. Place seam down on a sprayed cookie sheet. Keep already rolled tortillas covered with a damp towel to prevent cracking.
5. Spray the tops of the tortillas with cooking spray and sprinkle with salt.
6. Bake at 375 until golden brown and crispy (~15 minutes).
This meat is so tasty! It made a lot of taquitos and there was still meat left. It's tasty on nachos, too.
